Scottsbluff Star Hearld Scottsbluff, NE 28 Dec 2006 GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - In loving memory a memorial service will be held for Eda Hoppe Dec. 28, 2006, at Grand Junction for our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Due to inclement weather conditions there will be a family gathering in honor of her memory held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Robidoux RV Park, 140-180, Highway 71 south of Gering. Eda was born April 7, 1918. She married Frank Hoppe Jan. 20, 1935. To this union 13 children were born. She was a wonderful loving mother and will be greatly missed. We love you mom. Her children include, Frank Hoppe Jr. of Grand Junction, Virginia Newbold of Murdo, S.D., Mary Cushing of Scottsbluff, Wilma McConnell of Scottsbluff, John Hoppe of Grand Junction, June Hoppe of Gordon, Neb., Victor Hoppe of Scottsbluff, Loretta Medina of Gering, Lois Schanaman of Scottsbluff, Patricia Martinez of Grand Junction, Susan Hunt of Colorado Springs, Colo., Vicki Hrasky of Gering and Peggy Myers of Palisade Colo.; 51 grandchildren; and 100 plus great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, four children, and three brothers.
