<http://greeleytribune.com/article/20070208/OBIT/70207018> John Eisenach Dec. 24, 1911-Feb. 6, 2007 Age: 95 Residence: Platteville John Eisenach was born in Fruita to Jacob and Katherine (Fuss) Eisenach. On June 4, 1944, he married Doris Jean Preston in Greeley. She is deceased. Mr. Eisenach was raised in Atwood until the age of 12, when he moved to Eaton, where he lived until his marriage. He lived in Windsor from 1944-49 and then moved to Platteville. Mr. Eisenach farmed most of his life until 1985 and raised various crops. He farmed with horses in his early years. He took much pride in his farming; farming was his life. He enjoyed dancing with his family and playing cards. Mr. Eisenach especially enjoyed his participation with the Platteville Senior Citizens. He was a past member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church and a member of Platteville First United Methodist Church. Mr. Eisenach died Tuesday at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. Survivors: Four daughters, Judith Gaines of Lakewood, Linda Lorenz and partner John Fallbeck, both of Cheyenne, Carol Garelick and husband Larry of Glen Allen, Va., and Marcia Case of Sunbury, Pa.; two sons, John Eisenach of La Salle and Paul Eisenach of Platteville; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: His parents, his wife, a grandchild, Ashley Eisenach, a son-in-law, Dr. Vance Case, three brothers and five sisters. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Methodist Church of Platteville. Interment: Mizpah Cemetery, Platteville. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home, Greeley.
