<http://greeleytribune.com/article/20070208/OBIT/70207018> Cynthia Walter Aug. 31, 1951-Feb. 5, 2007 Age: 55 Residence: Rural Greeley Tribute: Cynthia Katherine Walter was born in Denver and adopted as a infant by to Bernard and Inez (Hansen) Kelly of Greeley. She attended Greeley schools and graduated from Greeley Central High School. On Nov. 16, 1968, she married Darrel Walter of Greeley. Mrs. Walter and her husband worked together with their Mallard Creek Garage repair shop and later on their farm east of Greeley. She had many hobbies. She loved to cook, quilt, sew and ride her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She had a great love for her two Golden Retriever dogs, Gus and Woodrow. Mrs. Walter was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Women’s Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Evans. Mrs. Walter died Monday at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit in Greeley. Survivors: Her husband, Darrel Walter of Greeley; a son, Ben Walter of Billings, Mont.; a daughter, Denise Ketchens of Post Falls, Idaho; her father, Bernard Kelly of Greeley; and three grandchildren, Cheyenne Stormy Walter of Billings and Naomi and Rebekah Ketchens, both of Post Falls. Preceded in death by: Her mother, Inez (Hansen) Kelly. Memorial services: A memorial service and spreading of ashes will be determined at a later date in the spring at Mallard Creek Pond, rural Greeley.
