    3. Billings Gazette Billings, MT 11 Feb 2007 LAUREL - Raymond Frank, 79, of Laurel passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Billings Clinic. Ray was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Laurel, the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Frank. Ray attended Laurel schools, served his country in the Korean War, and graduated Cum Laude from Rocky Mountain College with a degree in Industrial Arts. On Sept. 10, 1955, Ray married Betty Strecker in Laurel. He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad as a carman. Ray was an unusually handy guy who enjoyed helping others. He tackled many projects with the same confidence and courage that were so evident in his later health struggles. Ray loved the Lord, his church family and took great delight in watching his grandchildren grow. Ray is survived by his wife, Betty, of 51 years; son, Todd (Sonja) Frank and their sons, Hank Jay and Max Morgan; daughter, Robin (Ken) Herman and their daughters, Marki Rae and Rylie Mae. He is also survived by his sisters, Violet Knaub and Margaret Frank. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of the Billings Clinic Dialysis Center. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at the First Congregational Church in Laurel, interment in Laurel Cemetery with military honors.
