Roth was born in Sedgwick to George and Elizabeth (Lambrecht) Schwindt. She spent her younger years and attended school in Henderson. On Feb. 8, 1937, she married George P. Roth in Brighton. Mrs. Roth spent 58 years raising her family on their farm near Hudson. On Jan. 13, 1995, she and her husband moved into Brighton. Mr. Roth died in 1997. A longtime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Mrs. Roth was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Altar Guild. For many years she volunteered her time and talent to the church. She also was an election judge for Weld County for many years and a past school board member of the Tonville School. Mrs. Roth enjoyed crocheting and knitting, playing card games, and she loved growing her African Violets. She also enjoyed canning and gardening. More than anything, she enjoyed being around her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Roth died Friday in Greeley. Survivors: Her children and their spouses, Donald and Ann Roth of Gill, Wynona “Nonie” and Don Hepp of Longmont, Sharon and Francis Duvall of Greeley, Jerry and Sheila Roth of Fort Collins, Susan and Norris Chase of Ault and Debbie Dinges of Greeley; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Her husband, three brothers and six sisters. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton. Interment: Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton. Notes: Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton is in charge of arrangements.
