I think either choice/method works very well as long as list members realize how things are set up and make certain that their messages are indeed going to the intended recipients. On the Frank mail list, if I reply to a message, it defaults to sending the message back to the whole list. On the Volga mail list it defaults to sending the message back to the sender only. If our list administrator or the administrator of the Frank list is listening in, maybe they can explain why this is the case. You can, of course, hit "reply to all" in most e-mail software programs, and then just delete whichever address you don't want.
