    3. Scottsbluff Star Hearld Scottsbluff, NE 23 Jan 2007 Agnes Schnell, 92, of Scottsbluff, went to sleep in Christ and awaits His return. With family by her side, she died on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at Golden Living-Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 22 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Rodney Long officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials have been established to Golden Living-Scottsbluff, or to Prairie Haven Hospice. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel Sunday between 1-6 p.m. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Agnes was born November 9, 1914, in Windsor, Colo., to William and Mary (Kraus) Gomer. She grew up and attended school in Windsor. She married Henry Schnell June 15, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisc. Agnes worked as a nurses aide for over 30 years, then served as a foster grandparent working 20 hours each week at Regional West Medical Center for over twenty years. She loved music, singing, walking and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Scottsbluff. She is survived by her daughters: Ruth Ann (Bill) Solomon, Lakewood, Colo., Judi (Jerry) Jessop, Scottsbluff, Esther Harbour, Sarasota, Fla., Mary Lou (Ricardo) Olivarez, Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons Hank (Cheri) Schnell Jr., Bakersfield, Calif., Roy (Connie) Schnell, Greeley, Colo., Dennis Schnell of Texas, Steve (Ellen) Schnell of Scottsbluff and Nick (Rose) Schnell of Gering; sister Violet Reed of California; 21 grandchildren, and 51 great-grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, four brothers, two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
