Casper Star Tribune Casper, WY Robert W. "Bob" Bauer Tuesday, January 23, 2007 TORRINGTON -- Funeral services for Robert W. "Bob" Bauer, 63, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at the Eastgate Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Sparks officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, Colo. The casket will be closed. He was born April 21, 1943 in Kersey, Colo., the son of Conrad and Esther (Stark) Bauer. He attended school in Kersey and Greeley. He married Barbara Pound on June 10, 1962 in Greeley, Colo. He farmed with his parents until their deaths and then with his son in the Kersey and Greeley area until 1997 when he moved his farming operation to Lyman, Neb., where he farmed until 2006 when ill health forced his retirement. He never met a stranger and was always talking up a storm. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of Lyman; a daughter, Connie Lewis and her husband of Greeley; a son, Rob Bauer and his wife of Mitchell, Neb.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home.
