She was born on July 20, 1924, in Greeley to Daniel and Amelia Schafer. She was a waitress at the Northern Hotel. She lived most of her life in Fort Collins On Oct 8, 1945, she married Billie J. Townsend in Denver. She can make anyone smile. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. She is survived by a daughter, Tina Oglesby and her husband, Jim, of Ault; three sons, Billie, Dan and Tommie Townsend all of Fort Collins; two grandsons, Brent Oglesby and wife Jaime of Loveland, and Michael Oglesby of Ault. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers. A celebration of her life will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Courtyard by Marriott. All that knew her may come. She was the light of our eyes for so many wonderful years. We'll treasure the years that we had with her, and she will never be forgotten.
