Scottsbluff Star Hearld Scottsbluff, NE 4 Jan 2007 MINATARE - Randy Alan Bernhardt, beloved husband, father and grandfather, 51, of Minatare, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at Regional West Medical Center. At his request, cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 6, at Northfield Assembly of God Church in Gering with Pastor Phil Parker and Pastor Dwight Sandoz officiating. Randy was born Aug. 18, 1955, in Scottsbluff to Victor and Eleanor (Brening) Bernhardt and received his education in Bayard. He was an avid racecar driver and fan. He loved to race with his sons and grandsons and loved to be with his family. His grandsons were his pride and joy. Randy was loved by many and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane Bernhardt; sons, Brian (Tanya) Bernhardt and their sons, Brandon and Timothy, Ron Bernhardt all of Minatare; brothers Dick Bernhardt, Jerry Bernhardt all of Bayard, Leroy (Pat) Bernhardt of Scottsbluff; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Chet (Barb) Jacobs of Scottsbluff; brother-in-laws, Rex White and Randy White all of California; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene (Louise) White of Scottsbluff. His parents and baby brother Eddie preceded him in death.
