Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 01-11-2007 Victor Stertz April 13, 1920-Jan. 8, 2007 Age: 86 Residence: Greeley Tribute: Victor Stertz was born in Atwood to Frederick and Elizabeth (Kraft) Stertz. On Jan. 3, 1945, he married Margie Nell Johnston in Denver. The couple raised their family in Westminster. They moved to Greeley in 1984. Mr. Stertz worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as an electrician and retired in 1979. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 60 years. He also was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church. Mr. Stertz died Monday at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. Survivors: His wife, Margie Stertz of Greeley; a daughter and her husband, Charlotte and Dan Roberts of Greeley; two sons and their wives, Thomas and Celina Stertz of Colorado Springs and Joseph and Phyllis Stertz of Madison, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: His parents, three sisters and four brothers. Services: His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Paul's Congregational Church, Greeley. Interment: Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley.
