    3. Billings Gazette Billings, MT 25 Jan 2007 Henry "Hank" Flagler, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away at home on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007. Born Nov. 16, 1924, the youngest of Henry and Elizabeth (Krieger) Flagler. He married Ruth Reiter on July 29, 1943, in Billings. After 25 years of dedicated service at Midland Materials Company, he retired in February 1985. In his retirement years, he enjoyed making wind chimes, birdhouses and "tinkering" in his garage. He loved sitting on the patio, watching the sprinklers sprinkle and the grass grow so he could hop on one of his riding lawnmowers and groom his lawn once again. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 63-1/2 years; and their five children, Karen (Dennis) Emmerick, Bernie (Eunice) Flagler, Doug Flagler, Lanette (Dave) Christopherson, all of Billings, and Tim (Diane) Flagler, Gilbert, Ariz.; grandchildren, Kelly (Darwin) Rowton, Powell, Wyo., Koby (Todd) Hatch, Chicago, Renae Flagler, Laurel, Nick and Chad Christopherson, Billings; great-grandchildren, Kourtney and Keaton Rowton and Sydney Hatch. He also has one surviving sister, Elizabeth Mill, Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Alex and Rhiney; and his sister, Frieda Roth. Our thanks to Dr. Jon Bullman, Visiting Nurse Services and Big Sky Hospice for their love, care and concern. Services will be held at Smith's West Chapel, 304 34th St. West, at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, with Pastor Kristi Bummer of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
