Fort Morgan Times Fort Morgan, Colorado 01-19-2007 Connie Michael, 56, of Fort Morgan, died Monday at her home. Ms. Michael was born Dec. 9, 1950, in Fort Morgan to Manuel and Marie (Loose) Michael. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially ceramics. She also liked to crochet and she was a good cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and liked to read her Bible. Ms. Michael attended several area churches in Fort Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Franzel of Fort Morgan; her son, Matt Michael of Denver; her mother, Marie Michael of Fort Morgan; four sisters, June of Fort Morgan, Rosemary of Maroa, Ill., and Kathy and Barb, both of Denver; her brother, Jim of Brighton, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and her infant brother, Ronald. A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Life Fellowship in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. There has been cremation. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts in Ms. Michael's name to the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, 80701. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan was in charge of cremation. ---
