Kay When you do a search make sure you use a multitude of different spellings, combinations you would not think of. Also I think letters of intentions are on Ancestry.com but not sure. I have my grandfather's Russian military papers with dates they were given permission to leave, but no passport, ship manifests, or naturalization papers to tell me when, where they left from or going to which port.
