    3. Wyoming Tribune-Eagle Cheyenne, WY 2 Sep 2007 1927-2007 Ann Louise Vogel, 79, died Aug. 11 as a result of complications arising from a fall that occurred in mid-July. Mrs. Vogel was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Billings, Mont., to George and Paula Lunday. She graduated from Billings Senior High School and attended classes at Montana State College in Bozeman, Mont. Mrs. Vogel's experiences included moving to Oakland, Calif., with a girlfriend when she was a young woman and later meeting her future husband, John H. "Jack" Vogel, on a blind date in the summer of 1963. After their marriage the following July, Mrs. Vogel and her husband made their home in Cody as the proprietors of the Y Lumber and Hardware. In 1982, they retired to their home in Teton Village. The couple participated in many recreational activities and had many business interests. Mrs. Vogel is survived by two daughters, Carlen Carney of Teton Village and Sue Mecca of Cheyenne; one son, Sam Vogel of Phoenix; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Vogel's ashes will be scattered in the Teton Mountains to join those of her husband in the fall. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Jackson.
