Casper Star Tribune Casper, WY Daniel Flack Tuesday, March 13, 2007 WORLAND -- Funeral services for Daniel Flack, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel in Worland with Pastor Dan Garnett officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held this evening from 7-8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. He died of heart failure on March 8, 2007 at Washakie Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 17, 1919 in Scottsbluff, Neb., a son of Henry and Amalia (Schlundt) Flack. He married Edna Heth on April 5, 1940 in Sheridan. He farmed with his family in Sheridan until they moved to Hardin, Mont., and then to Worland where he had continued farming. Later in his life he moved to Casper, where he worked as groundskeeper for the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Grounds. In 1979, he received an award for "Wyoming Best Fairgrounds" from Natrona County Pioneer Association and the people of Natrona County. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Thermopolis. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Kraft and her husband of Severance, Colo.; four sons and their wives, Ron Flack of Cheyenne, Hank Flack of Mitchell, S.D., Kenny Flack of Aberdeen, S.D., and Rocky Flack of Casper; one sister, Alice Thompson of Cody; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by a son in 1942 and his wife in 1991, three brothers and four sisters.
