I am looking for anyone who is realated to Haus (Harvey) and Berta (Bertha) Eifert. Berta and Heinrich, who immigrated through Philadelphia, June 1914 on the ship Chemnitz whith son Heinrich (Henry) at age of 2. She was going to meet Haus Eifert. Then I can't find them in the 1920 census anywhere. But, in 1930 they are in Mount Pleasant, Racine Co, Wisconsin. Haus immigrated in 1912 and Bertha and Henry in 1914. Haus is now called Harvey, age 42, married at 21 and born in Russia Bertha, age 41, married at 20, born in Russia Henry, age 18 b. Russia Rose, age 14 b. WI Alexander, age 11, b. WI Olga, age 9, b. WI Robert, age 8, WI Carl, age 6, WI William, age 3, WI Henry worked for the railroad as per his social security info. I found WWII registrations for Alex, Robert, Carl and William. Alexander b. July 1, 1918, D. 10/20/1960- enlisted in Racine, WI, was single. Is buried at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Robert b. May 10 (22), 1922 enlisted in Denver, was married and living in Weld Co, Colorado. U.S. Army Tec 4. Social Sec. death record says born May 22nd, 1922 and died Nov 14, 1998 in Dillon, Beaverhead Co, MT and is buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, MT and was divorced at time of death. Carl b. June 21, 1923 enlisted in CO. COX US Navy, WWII, d. June 6, 1969 and is buried at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. His wife Louise b. Nov 3, 1920 d. Dec 2, 2001 is also buried with him at Ft. Logan. William b. 1927 enlisted in Denver, was single at the time and died in Denver May 1975 and probably at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. This family fits your description better and is probably why Henry was told to say he was born in WI, since all his siblings were. I haven't found anything on the females and I haven't found the cemetery or death dates for Henry's parents (Harvey and Bertha). It is possible they moved to Colorado since that is where Henry's brothers appeared to go. Suggest you put a request for assistance on the Racine, WI message board, Weld County, CO and Denver message boards, Winnebago Co, Illinois message boards asking for cemetery info and death dates for his parents and a separate message for information on the marriage of the females. also: Rhiney b. January 31, 1934 d. 2/17/1961 and is buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver where Carl, William and Alexander are buried. I do feel like I am missing one child of Berta and Haus, my Grandfather Henry said he was the oldest of 9 children. Would love to here if anyone is related.
