Hello, I found the latest info posted regarding the sugar beet farming in Sugar City CO fascinating as I have 2 families from that area, the Schneider's (Reifschneider) and the Pope's (Popp). I have a question, I have documentation stating they lived in the village of Pobochnaya prior to coming to the US, however when I looked at the surname lists it states they were at different villages.
