An observation. You will note that the first child of Peter Wittmann and Katherine Beil that was born in Victoria KS is Heinrich. His baptism record states that he was baptized in Herzog/Victoria 24 Oct 1888. This indicates that the family came to the U.S. between 1886 and 1888 I have church marriage records for Herzog only to 1900.
