Scottsbluff Star Hearld Scottsbluff, NE 30 May 2007 Annie Green, 94, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 1, at the Salem Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Dale Brown officiating. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friends who wish may call at the Jolliffe Funeral Home Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and at the funeral. A memorial has been established to the church. Annie was born May 31, 1912 in Milwaukee, Wis. to Nicholas and Catherine E. (Spahn) Green. At an early age she moved with her family to the Lake Alice Community where she received her education. She had lived in the area all of her life. She was a lifetime member of the Salem Congregational Church and sang in the church choir. Annie was a very kind and caring person and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her nieces, Florine Starkell of Scottsbluff and Arlene Harimon of Minatare; nephews, Marvin Green of Gering and Gary Green of Torrington, Wyo.; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Henry, Conrad H., Louis, Rueben B., and Dave Green; and sister, Molly Scott.
