*Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 05-28-2007 Henry Spade Jr. * Sept. 7, 1916 - May 26, 2007 Age: 90 Residence: Loveland Tribute: Henry Spade Jr. was born in Fort Morgan to Henry Spade Sr. and Elizabeth Kreiger Spade in Fort Morgan. He grew up in Fort Morgan, where he also attended schools. He farmed in the Fort Morgan area before moving to Loveland 50 years ago. He then farmed in the Loveland area until he retired in 1968. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Loveland, he loved fishing, bowling, the dog track, and he enjoyed his friends who would pick him up to go for coffee time. He also received the High Ten for his sugar beets for 13 years. Mr. Spade died May 26 at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley. Preceded in death by: His parents; a son, Harvey Spade; eight brothers; and one sister. Survivors: His daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Spade of Loveland; a brother, Joe Spade, of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Roger Spade and Pam Brenckle (Guy); two great-grandchildren, Alec and Melody Brenckle; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the First Congregational Church. Viewing: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Viegut Funeral Home. Interment: Loveland Burial Park.
