Fort Morgan Times Fort Morgan, Colorado 05-03-2007 Marvin E. Teter, 64, a former Hillrose resident, died April 25 at his home in Broomfield. Teter was born Dec. 26, 1942, in Brush to Elliott and Florence (Lebsock) Teter. He attended Hillrose School before moving to Littleton, where he graduated. He married Lydia Hernandez Dec. 30, 1961. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. After his discharge, he was the manager for Beneficial Finance and owned several restaurants and lounges in the Denver area. The last 25 years he was in gold mining and owned the D.S. Mine Development in Dolan Springs, Ariz. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Teter is survived by his wife, Lydia, and son, Derek Teter, both of Broomfield; daughters, Sheree Goetz of Westminster and Cindy Maul of Erie; a brother, Melvin Teter, and sisters, Helen Emhovick and Patricia Manning, all of Brush, and Barbara Sapp of Nebraska; and four granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William and Bobby. Services were held Monday at the Arvada Methodist Church. Rundus Funeral Home of Broomfield was in charge of the arrangements.
