Elsie Beresprung b 1897 d.o. Christ Beresprung and Berta GOTH m 19 Aug 1916 Christian Schadt in Ebenezer, St Clair St, Sheboygan. Christian was the son of Christian and Katharina per chuch records. Shirley A. Kuester, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, age 72 of Settlement Court, formerly of Carmen Avenue, passed away Monday afternoon, May 7, 2007 at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. Born April 27, 1935 in Sheboygan, Shirley was a daughter of the late Frank and Elvira Behrensprung Baumert. She attended area grade schools and graduated from North High School. In 1952, she married Richard Giersch. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1982. In 1985, she married William Jurss who preceded her in death on June 3, 1992. On October 18, 1993, she was united in marriage to George J. Kuester who preceded her in death on November 9, 2006. Shirley and her husband, Richard, owned and operated Auburn Lake Resort from 1971 until 1980. She then worked at McDonald's as a hostess, at Walmart as a sales associate, and most recently as a volunteer grandparent for the Sheboygan Area School District. She attended St. Peter Clavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and making floral arrangements, was an excellent cook, and was a gifted artist. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with children. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Mark) Schmidling, Franklin, Pamela (Jerome) Kuehl and Paula Schultz, both of Campbellsport, and Donna (Bill) Ney, Two Rivers; 7 grandchildren, Eric and Jeffrey Schmidling, both of Milwaukee, Stacey Schultz, Kewaskum, Michael Schultz, Lomira, Justin Kuehl, Campbellsport, Mellissa (Justin) Hogan, Minneapolis, MN, and Paul Solin, Manitowoc; one great grandson, Austin Ksioszk, Fredonia; her sister, Barbara (Peter) Sagal and her brother, Frank (Cathy) Baumert, both of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Shirley will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. Father Michael Dineen will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. Following cremation, inurnment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
