*Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 05-30-2007 Alma Magnuson * Aug. 21, 1915 - May 27, 2007 Age: 91 Residence: Greeley Tribute: Alma Magnuson was born in Loveland to John and Lena (Weber) Hoffman. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1934 and lived in and around Loveland, Greeley and Ault all of her life. She owned Woody's Café in Greeley for years and then worked many years for the Ault Sanitation Board. Mrs. Magnuson was a member of the Lutheran Church of Ault and the V.F.W. Post No. 4334. She was known for her friendly style and good sense of humor. She was loved and respected in her community and by her family and friends. Mrs. Magnuson died Sunday at The Bridge in Greeley. Survivors: Two sons, Warren "Woody" Woodmansee of Denver and Gary Woodmansee of Curlew, Wash.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Her husband, C. Harvey Magnuson; a son, Kent Woods; and four brothers. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel, 702 13th St., Greeley. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. today at Allnutt Macy Chapel.
