I've been reading about the various German POW camps you all are mentioning. I just wanted to add the following; Idaho had two camps, one was Camp Algoma, location unknown and Camp Rupert near Rupert, Idaho. The web site below has pictures and history of the camp I thought you might been interested in. I'm looking for any info about Bauer, Russia; Neu-Bauer, Russia and Frank, Russia. The family names is Rahnert then changed to Rohnert after they settle in Scottsbluff, Ne., according to the 1920 and 1930's census reports.
