Geisick, Esther Helena, May 20, 1918-July 2, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado Age: 96 Residence: Greeley Esther Helena Geisick, 96, of Greeley, passed away July 2, 2014, at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. Esther was born May 20, 1918, to George and Annamarie Thoutt in Greeley. She married Adam Geisick on Jan. 24, 1937. He passed away July 18, 1981. Her two favorite loves were her faith and her family. Esther enjoyed fishing, family dinners, working in her flower garden, and ceramics. Her home was always opened to anyone who wanted to stop by and would always have a homemade treat for them to eat. She also enjoyed coffee with her circle of friends. She was also a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Greeley. Esther is survived by her children, Lillian (Bill) Hoffman, LeRoy Geisick, and Carla Geisick. She is also survived by four grandsons, five granddaughters, 10 great-grandsons, 11 great-granddaughters, five great-great-granddaughters and two great-great-grandsons; and by sister, Irene Weigel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Geisick; son, Larry Adam Geisick; brothers, Carl and Reinholdt Thoutt; and sisters, Charlotte (Laddie) Owens, Amelia (Millie) Feit and Lydia Repp. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services with services starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.
