    3. Yeager, Samuel ‘Sam’ George, Nov. 13, 1946- Dec. 30, 2013 Billings Gazette Billings, Montana 6 Jan 2014 CASPER, Wyo. — Samuel George Yeager passed away on Dec. 30, 2013. He was born in Billings on Nov. 13, 1946, to Dolores Yeager and Ray Kunz. He was later adopted by Herman Yeager and raised by Herman and Dolores. He graduated from Laurel High School in 1965. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he married and then moved with his family to Powell, Wyo. There he managed a furniture store for 14 years and then changed to a career in the petroleum industry which he retired from in 2011. Sam enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He loved to take his family camping, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching his children participate in sports spending many weekends traveling around the state to different events. His favorite pastime was playing golf with family and friends. He was an excellent wood craftsman and auto mechanic. Sam is survived by his mother, Dolores Yeager of Laurel; brother Jim Yeager (Shelley), sisters Susan Knaub (Jeff) and Vonnie Hutzenbiler (Ron) all of Montana; his children Jeremy Yeager of Buffalo, Wyo., Jarl Yeager (Jill) of Casper, Wyo., Jon Yeager (Lisa) of Thornton Colo.; and five grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Evansville on Monday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at TenderNest Assisted Living, 120 W. 12th St., in Laurel at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6. Family and friends are welcome.
