Corina 2014-01-31 Brenda Silvey <brenda_silvey@dccnet.com>: Hi everyone, I have the 1816, 1834, 1850 and 1857 censuses for Schwab and the 1857 Census for Friedenberg for the Lehning family. The Lehning family were part of the movement to Friedenberg. Johannes Lehning is listed as “head” b. ca. 1762. I’m assuming he arrived in Russia from Germany as a young child. He had 3 daughters and 3 sons. The sons were: Johann Wilhelm b. ca. 1789 at Schwab Andreas b. ca. 1797 at Schwab Johannes Heinrich b. ca. 1804 at Schwab Also listed are these nephews (and their families) Johann Christian b. ca. 1803 / d. ca. 1843 at Schwab Johann Daniel b. ca. 1804 / d. ca. 1856 at Schwab Can someone do a lookup for me in the Kuhlberg List for Johannes Lehning b. ca. 1762 and his family (parents and siblings) when they arrived in Russia? Where they came from and the father’s occupation? Ship name and captain? Thank you in advance!
