Morgheim, Anthony Wain, Nov. 30, 1972- Jan. 16, 2014 Scottsbluff Star Herald Scottsbluff, Nebraska 16 Feb 2014 Anthony Wain Morgheim, 41, was received by Jesus on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2014. He was born in Anchorage (Ft. Richardson), Alaska, on Nov. 30, 1972, to Steven and Virginia (Baker) Morgheim. Baptism followed thereafter, and he was confirmed in 1998. Primarily educated in Alaska, Anthony graduated from Lincoln, Neb., Southeast at 1991 and earned a business degree at UNL in 1999. He loved soccer and played for the UNL Rugby Team. Later, he worked as an investment broker in Omaha and Springfield, Mo. Survivors include his son, Hayes Baker Morgheim, and former wife, M. Renee Hoskins of Springfield; mother, Virginia of McKinney, Texas; father, Steven (Becky Hale) of Gering; brother, Ryan Spencer, Dallas, Texas; brother, Jeffrey Scott (Nicol Raymond Bright) and nephews, Jack and Cole, Edmund, Okla.; grandmother, Marcheta Cook Morgheim, and aunt, Julie Morgheim Morrison Gering. Preceding Anthony were (grandfather) Reuben Morgheim and (grandparents) Jack and Glenrose (Stevens) Baker. Family gathered on Feb. 1, to celebrate the humor and many achievements of a life cut too short. They thank Renee for leading Anthony, through bible study and immersion baptism, to Christ; and Becky for initiating public acknowledgements of his passing. Anthonys ashes will rest on Flat Top Peak overlooking Anchorage, Alaska.
