Pfenning, Tami Jo, Nov. 6, 1962-Dec. 6, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 10 Dec 2014 Age: 52 Residence: Greeley Tami Jo (Kuhn) Pfenning, 52, of Ault passed away Dec. 6, 2014. She was born Nov. 6, 1962, in Greeley, to Margaret and Bill Kuhn of Ault. Tami lived in the Ault area from 1962-1988 with her parents. In 1988, she lived in the Ault/Galeton area with her husband. In 2010-2013, she lived at the Triangle Cross Ranch and in 2013 she moved to Windsor. Tami was diagnosed as a Down Syndrome at birth. She lived a normal life at her home with her parents, sister and brother. She went through the 12th grade of school through B.O.C.E.S., and graduated from Highland High School with her class on May 19, 1982. Tami became a Schaefer Enterprise client in 1980 and worked there until April, 2013. She worked in the dining area at UNC in Harrison Hall, and worked nine years at Wildflower Bagel and was a volunteer at Centennial Library in Greeley. On June 12, 1988, Tami married Terry Pfenning in the Galeton Community Church by Pastor Gibb Green. They were members of the Ault Christian Church. Tami loved to work on latch hook rugs and won several blue ribbons at the Ault Festival. She also enjoyed Special Olympics, bowling, crossword puzzles, word search and was a good swimmer. Her T.V. was constantly on a football game she loved the Broncos. She is survived by her husband, Terry Pfenning; brother, John and Bobbi Kuhn; brother-in-law, Robb Wickstrom; niece, Jamie Weeks; and nephews, Chad Kuhn and Craig Wickstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Margaret Kuhn; sister, Billie Jean Wickstrom; and niece, Brenda Tucker. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at Ault Cemetery.
