Fabrizius, Arthur, Dec. 5, 1946-Aug. 21, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 24 Aug 2014 Age: 67 Residence: Greeley Arthur Leroy Fabrizius, 67, of Greeley, passed away Aug. 21, 2014 at his home to be with the Lord. He was born Dec. 5, 1946 in Greeley to William and Elizabeth (Mauter) Fabrizius. Art lived in the local area all his life, graduating from Highland High School in Ault in 1964. In June of 1973 he married Patsy M. Woods. Art was self-employed as a rancher and horse trader. He was proud of his business as a horse trader because he and his nephew Jason who was a partner could conduct business from his yard. He retired in 2008 but was involved in rental properties. If you saw smoke west of Ault, Art was burning something. Art never knew a stranger, especially kids and was always there to help everyone in need. His favorite sayings were the thing of it is, it is what it is, tell you about me and I dont care what anybody thinks. When sending cards to the family he was always very expressive. Art loved nice cars, pickups, horse trailers and finer things in life. He loved to shop and Christmas was very special to him. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and brother. His grandsons were the joy of his life. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was a member of Greeley Wesleyan Church. We would like to thank our sister, Patty for the kidney she gave our brother for seven wonderful years of a better life. Art is survived by his children, Landra Fabrizius, Louis (Gina) Fabrizius, John (Sheryl) Fabrizius, Mickie (Steve) Cobb, and Sandy (Dean) Sorenson; brother, William (Lari) Fabrizius Jr. of Grover, sisters, Patty (Ron) Kauffman of Greeley and Evelyn (Duane) Scheller of Fort Collins; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
