Fritzler, Robert 'Fritz', August 16, 1934- Aug. 21, 2014 Scottsbluf Star Herald Scottsbluff, Nebraska 23 Aug 2014 TORRINGTON, WYO. - Funeral services for Robert “Fritz” Fritzler, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vicki Kintzel officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Fritz died Aug. 21, 2014 at the Goshen Care Center. A memorial has been established to the Goshen County Fairgrounds for tables and benches. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. to noon and the casket will be open briefly following the service. Fritz was born August 16, 1934 in Torrington, Wyo., the son of George and Lydia (Schnell) Fritzler. He grew up and received his education there graduating Torrington High School in 1954. Starting when he was in ninth grade he worked as a custodian at the Torrington schools and worked there for sixteen years. He married Jane Caldwell on June 30, 1956 in Torrington. He then worked for Torrington Plumbing from 1972 until 1982 when he started his own sanitation business. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 until 1960. He retired in January of 2003.
