    1. [GV] 1941 North Caucasus Map by Geo. Leibbrandt

    3. Here is a small portion of a 1941 map by Geo. Leibbrandt covering the Kuban Province, North Caucasus. I wish I had access to the complete map. These villages have importance to some Volga German researchers because we know they were in part settled by colonists from the Volga German colonies. The purple font & symbols on the map denote German settlements, population, etc. Note: Not all khutors/collective farms may be shown. For example there was a Khutor Neyelenskiy adjacent to Neuheim (Russian: Novo Selovka) which doesn't appear on this particular map although on a modern map it shows. It was probably so close to Neuheim it didn't warrant its own identity. http://s004.radikal.ru/i208/1005/98/c0f45e397f66.jpg Internet Source: http://forum.wolgadeutsche.net/viewtopic.php?f=270&t=561 Tim Weeder VC for Paulskoye
