Ehrlich, John, July 19, 1928-May 4, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 7 May 2014 Age: 85 Residence: Greeley John Ehrlich, 85, of Greeley, passed away on May 4, 2014. He was born on July 19, 1928, in Gill, to August and Lydia Ehrlich. John had lived in Greeley and Weld County all of his life. He graduated from Gill High School in 1948. He married Betty Jean Harding on Aug. 31, 1952, in St. Pauls Congregational Church. She later passed away on May 17, 2011. He farmed until the age of 81. Farming was his life, but most important was spending time with his granddaughters and attending their activities. John was a member of the Colorado Farm Bureau and St. Pauls Congregational Church. John is survived by his daughter, Robbi Young of Westminister; son, Keith Ehrlich of Orange, Calif.; brothers, Harvey Ehrlich of Denver, Robert Ehrlich and wife Janice of Greeley, James R. Ehrlich and wife Ann of Windsor; sister, Mary Ann Bissell and husband Kelly Stone Bissell, Grand Junction; two granddaughters, Sheena M. Lee and Sage N. Lee, Denver; and his dog, Haley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Gloria Cogburn. A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. A viewing is scheduled for one hour prior to the service with services to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Pauls Congregational Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
