Lenhart Lawrence "Larry", August 3, 1921- May 15, 2014 Torrington Telegram Torrington, Wyoming 17 May 2014 Lawrence Larry Lenhart Torrington, Wyoming --- Lawrence Larry Lenhart, 92, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at a care facility in Sterling, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, May 19, at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington with Pastors Steven Seng and Curtis Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Morrill, Nebraska. Memorials may be made to the Lingle Fire Department or donors choice. Visitation will be Monday from 9am to 12 at the funeral home. Larry was born August 3, 1921, in Morrill, Nebraska the son of Henry & Katherine (Rhineheart) Lenhart. He grew up in the area and graduated from Liberty High School outside of Morrill, in 1939. He then attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for 2 years. Larry married June Boggs January 18, 1942 in Harrisburg, Nebraska. The couple farmed in the Morrill and Lingle, Wyoming area until 1969. Larry worked at Holly Sugar in Torrington from 1969 to 1979. In 1979, he and his wife started Double L Greenhouse in Torrington. They retired in 1999. Larrys hobbies included fishing, gardening, and University of Nebraska football. He was a long time volunteer for the Lingle Fire Department. Larry was also a 52 year Master Mason of the Torrington Lodge No. 29 A.F. and A.M. He is survived by his children Sherman (Carol) Lenhart or Gering, Nebraska, Boni (Jim) Fanning of Windsor, Colorado and Jack (Betty) Lenhart of Casper, Wyoming; a sister Jackie Lashley; a brother Herb Lenhart; sisters-in-law Pearl Boggs and Tripp Lenhart; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife June; two brothers, James and Calvin Lenhart; three sisters, Elta McClellan, Carol Alves and Dorothy Freed; brother-in-law Ruben Boggs; and son-in-law Rodney Fullmer.
