    3. Wiedeman, Marge, Dec. 22, 1938-March 14, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado Age: 75 Residence: Greeley Marjorie “Marge” Yvonne Wiedeman, 75, of Greeley, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Greeley to Pete and Lydia (Blondie) Miller Branca. Marge attended Greeley public schools, graduating from Greeley High School in 1957. She attended Colorado State College, before working at Weld County Bank. She enjoyed working with her peers and customers. She became a bank officer and eventually retired from United Bank. Marge and Wilbert (Willy) Wiedeman of Windsor, Colo., were married Dec. 9, 1961, at the First Congregational Church in Greeley. They had celebrated their 52nd anniversary in December 2013 with family and friends. She was a long-time member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, a friendship and service organization. The many civic activities with the other members were gratifying to Marge. After having breast cancer, Marge joined with other survivors in a group, The Pink Ladies. These ladies actively raise funds to fight breast cancer. Marge and Willy loved to travel and were fortunate to travel to Europe twice, Hawaii, Canada, Bahama Islands, and got to see 42 states in a motor home with friends. Washington, D.C., was a favorite destination, because of all the history. The 4th of July concert on the west lawn of the Capitol was always special. Marge is survived by her husband, Willy; brother, Robert; sister-in-law, Wanda Stromberger and husband, Ed; nephew, Steve Stromberger and wife, Lori; niece, Cheryl (Stromberger) Moore and husband, Frank; great-nieces, Sara and Andrea; great-great nieces, Lexi, Megan and Audrey; great-great-nephews, Ethan and Jamison; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Lester Wolery; father-in-law, William Wiedeman, Jr.; mother-in-law, Mary (Hoff) Wiedeman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life for Marge will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Greeley Country Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to “Hospice of Northern Colorado” or “American Cancer Society” (put “Breast Cancer Research” on the memo line of check), in care of Adamson Funeral Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
