She was born May 14, 1947 in Colorado Springs, Colo., to John and Ann (Braun) Meyer. Shirley is survived by her son, Jon (Holly) Bernhardt of Pierce, Colo.; five grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; a sister; and a nephew. Visitation is from noon-1 p.m. followed by Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014, both at Adamson Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
