Frank, Daniel "Dan" George, November 29, 1957 - September 30, 2014 Billings Gazette Billings, Montana 3 Oct 2014 Daniel George Frank, 56, went to the great Gotham City in the sky on September 30, 2014. Dano was born November 29, 1957 to George and Dianne (Perry) Frank in Albuquerque NM. George was in the military and the family moved around the country settling in Billings MT; then eventually Shepherd MT. Dano attended Shepherd High School graduating in 1977. He went to work for a steel door company in Billings where he experienced a life changing event when he lost a leg in a tragic industrial accident. He didnt let this detour him; he went on to attend Billings Vo-Tech where he obtained a degree in graphic design. This led him to his current employment with the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management which he was still employed after 35 years. In July 1999, Dano married his best friends sister, Kris Schenck and a year later the apple of his eye and his ultimate pride and joy was born, Erin Dianne Frank. Dano is survived by his wife, Kris (Schenck) Frank; his daughter, Erin Dianne Frank; and his stepson, (who he considered to be his own son) Justin David Schenck. He is also survived by his brother, Bryan (Celest) Frank and their daughter Adrianna (Shane) Wageman-Frank; sister, Jennifer Thomas and her children Gabrielle (Danny), Jessica Holmes and Krystal (Shawn) Pendergrass; stepmother, Georgia Anne Frank; stepbrother, Kevin (Kimm) Brookshire; mother-in-law, Emily Schenck; brother-in-law, Mike (Donna Huber) Schenck; sister-in-law, Kathy Hall; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepdad, Bob Thomas. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 4, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Creel Funeral Home Chapel, 601 West Main in Lewistown.
