Keller, Martha, Feb. 27, 1924- Oct. 6, 2014 Scottsbluff Star Herald Scottsbluff, Nebraska 9 Oct 2014 HICKMAN — Martha Keller, 90, formerly of Gering, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 at Haven Manor. A family graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at West Lawn Cemetery. Her funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Ralph Morris officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8 p.m. with family present 6-8 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to the church or to the family. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Martha was born on Feb. 27, 1924 in Scottsbluff to Henry and Eva (Kuhlman) Rahmig. She worked at the Nebraska Certified Potato Cellar, later working at the Swifts & Co. for a few years. She married David Keller on Feb. 8, 1949 at St. James Lutheran Church in Scottsbluff. She was a homemaker most of her life. Martha enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and baking. She said her favorite room is the kitchen. Survivors include her son, Arnold and daughter-in-law Marilyn Keller, Lincoln; daughter, Colleen and son-in-law Jonathan Mannering, Gering; grandchildren, Jennifer and Rob Hague, Hickman, Megan and Kyle Starner, Bennette, and Lynsey and Jason Cobb, Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Melina, Jocelyn, Kendal, Caleb and Deyton Cobb, Alexa and Eli Starner and Ben Hague; half brothers, Alec Rahmig, Mitchell and Reinhardt Rahmig, Gering and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, siblings Eva Fertig, Anna Uhrick, Mary Knaub, Emma Knaub, Dave Rahmig, Molly Fertig, Fred Rahmig and Henry Rahmig.
