Bauer, Barbara L., Oct. 20, 1938-Oct. 26, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 28 Oct 2014 Age: 76 Residence: Greeley Barbara Bauer, 76, of Greeley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014. Barbara spent most of her years in Denver, where she worked as a lead analyst in technology and finance for Mountain Bell, US West, and Qwest for 24 years. She always considered her colleagues as friends and family. After retiring she enjoyed Girls Day Out with friends and family. Barbaras greatest joy was spending time with family and attending all of her grandkids sporting events. Her highlights to every week were special dates and weekends where she could go root on her favorite teams and catch up with friends. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Bauer; two daughters, Stacey Crockett of Greeley and Jill Birkholz (Corey) of Highlands Ranch; four grandchildren, Jordan (Eric Phillips) and Ryan Crockett of Fort Collins, and Paige and Ashton Jay Kula of Highlands Ranch; two step-grandchildren, Titan and Radek Birkholz of Highlands Ranch; a great-grandchild, Colson Phillips of Fort Collins; brothers, Olin Ruff (Jackie) of Fort Collins, David Ruff (Nancy) of Windsor, and Ron Ruff of Fort Collins; sister Karen McDaniel (Larry) of Fort Collins; seven nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed for her kind heart, generosity, love of family, sneaky smile, and warm hugs. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Adamson Chapel with funeral Service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at Faith United Church of Christ, 1020 Walnut St., Windsor.
