    3. Josephine "Jo" Harms Nov. 17, 1921-Nov 9, 2010 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado Age: 88 Residence: Greeley Josephine “Jo” Harms of Greeley passed away Nov. 9, 2010, at Grace Pointe. She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Crowley to Adam and Pauline (Weber) Dill. On April 29, 1945, she married Alvin F. Harms in Greeley. The couple farmed in the Kersey, Bracewell and Platteville areas, moving to Greeley in 1952. Alvin passed away on January 25, 2003. Jo worked retail in Greeley for many years. She liked to crochet, garden and enjoyed baking. She loved to read. When her eyesight failed, she listed to books on tape. She also loved to shop. Jo was an excellent seamstress. She made her children's clothes when they were younger, including their winter coats. Jo was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the church's Friendship Circle and Ladies Guild. Jo is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; four brothers, John, Adam, Ted and Harry Dill. She is survived by her children, Paul (Linda) Harms, Janice Harms and Linda Harms, all of Greeley; two grandchildren, Melissa Zambri of Ault and Paul Harms Jr. of Greeley; one great-grandchild, Hannah Zambri of Ault; a sister, Alvina Whittman of Greeley; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Dill of Greeley and Leona Harms of Littleton. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Colorado Talking Books in care of Allnutt, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
