Bauer, Elnora V., Jan. 20, 1935- Feb. 28, 2011 Scottsbluff Star Herald Scottsbluff, NE 3 Mar 2011 Elnora V. Bauer, 76, of Gering, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Feb. 28, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 4, at Emmanuel Congregational Church with Pastor Dale Brown presiding. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to be given in memory of Elnora, to KCMI Christian Radio Station at 209 E 15th, Scottsbluff or to the family. Elnora was born Jan. 20, 1935, in Minatare to George and Molly Richard. She married Donald J. Bauer March 22, 1953. Elnora was active in Mary Martha Circle at her church, bowling, reading and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working at KCMI where she volunteered much of her time. Survivors include her husband Don; daughters, Christi (Brett) Thomas of Seattle, Wash., Suzanne (Jack) Wlezen of Lakewood, Colo., Donnell Chapman and Jonette Bauer (Bob Noecker) of Scottsbluff; granddaughters, Gina Wlezen, April (Derek) Straugh and Molly Chapman; grandson, John (Chelsie) Thomas; sisters, Betty Krause, Joyce Fulk, and brothers Harvey (Bonnie) Richard, Gary Richard and Frank Richard. Elnora was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harold Richard and son-in-law Ed Chapman.
