Frank, Helen L., Dec. 26, 1926-Jan. 7, 2011 Billings Gazette Billings, MT 11 Jan 2010 PHOENIX — Helen L. Frank, 84, of Phoenix, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011. Helen was born Dec. 26, 1926, in Helena, Mont., the daughter of Hilmar and Lillian Waage. While Helen was attending grade school in Laurel, Mont., she met Victor Frank. They were later married on Jan. 22, 1949. They moved to Denver in 1950. Helen worked as a telephone operator in Laurel and Denver. They moved back to Laurel in 1952, where Helen was a housewife and mother to Debra and Jeffrey. In 1962 they moved to Phoenix, where Rick was born. After raising her children, Helen began working at a daycare preschool. Helen is survived by her husband, Victor H. Frank; children Debra (Glenn) Sahl, Jeffrey Frank and Rick (Sharon) Frank; grandchildren, Erik Sahl, Mark (Kayla) Sahl, Tiffany Frank and Daniel Frank; great-grandchildren Leah Sahl and Mia Frank. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Church of the Beatitudes, 555 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix. Private family burial services will be held. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary, Tempe, Ariz.
