I am working to get records for the village of Kind in Russia. This is a project that is a bit expensive, so I will be working to raise money to help with the effort. Engels Archive has births for 1787, 1792-1815 and 1853-1882. Saratov Archive has births for 1883-1921 for Kind. Volgograd may have some of these, which is a plus, because they are cheaper. Another project in the works is a real study of the Lutheran parish of Naeb. Naeb consisted of the villages of Naeb, Meinhardt, Kind, Susannenthal, Brockhausen, Hockerberg and Orlovskaya. Some materials from RGIA St. Petersburg have been obtained, but there are hunderds of pages of documents in Samara Archive. Please contact me if interested in helping the effort. Bill Pickelhaupt
