    2. Fred Betz
    3. National Public radio had a great report this morning: " How Russia's Shared Kitchens Helped Shape Soviet Politics" During the famine in the 20s, millions flooded the cities to find work. Wealthy estates were subdivided, but private kitchens were not allowed. It's an interesting example of how the Bolshevik propaganda set the stage for tight social control in Stalinist Russia. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2014/05/20/314054405/how-russias-shared-kit chens-helped-shape-soviet-politics Fred Betz Coos Bay, Oregon Neu Messer, Messer, Norka Betz, Bauer, Brill, Scheibel, Heidenriech

    3. Scheidt, Mark D., Dec. 10, 1960-April 20, 2014 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 25 Apr 2014 Age: 53 Residence: Johnson City, Tenn. Mark D. Scheidt, 53, entered into rest, Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn. He was born on Dec. 10, 1960, in Greeley, to Harry L. and Betty A. (Lenhart) Scheidt of Greeley. Mark was a native of Greeley and attended schools in Greeley, graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1979. Mark was the co-owner/CEO of several logistic companies over the years and had created Technipak in 1999 and grew it into three locations and sold it 13 years later to a large company. He had many side businesses along the way, too many to count. He was a true entrepreneur with an amazing mind and drive. Mark attended First Christian Church in Johnson City. Mark married his high school sweetheart, Lori (Leinweber) in 1981 and they had remained true soul mates for almost 33 years and had hardly spent a moment away from each other. Mark was his family’s best friend, gave unconditional love with a kind heart and was the “rock” of the family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and friends. One of the last things he said Sunday morning to his wife Lori was no one has ever loved you as much as I have. Mark had a true passion for rock and roll music, having turned it recently into an Internet company (for something to keep him busy), he loved playing pool in his man-cave, enjoyed boating and fishing and many years ago loved to coach, play baseball and softball. His one true passion was “creating” new businesses. That is what made him tick. The joy of his life was his family, he had such strong love and commitment to all three of his “girls”. Mark had a special love all it’s own for his wife Lori, his best friend. We have all lost one of God’s true miracles. Mark was unique in every way and anyone that knew him was blessed. He was the real thing, honest and true. In addition to his parents, Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Lori Scheidt of Gray, Tenn.; three daughters, Jennifer Huss and her husband Joe, Johnson City, Larissa R. Scheidt, Gray and Morgan D. Scheidt, Gray;grandchildren, Jenea Huss, R.J. Huss, Nathan Huss, all of Johnson City; one sister, Michelle Wardell, Greeley; one nephew, Justin Wardell, Greeley; a brother-in-law, Scott Leinweber and his wife, Lori of Loveland, Colo.; two nieces, Taryn and Taylor Leinweber of Loveland. Mark also leaves very special life long friends, Robert and Robin Bibbey, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Neil and Sue St. Pierre, Milliken, Colo. Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Scheidt; a granddaughter, Izabel Renee; and a sister-in-law, Valery Leinweber. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014, both at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to “Children’s Hospital” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
