Just curious if there is anyone out there who has any updated information regarding Seaborn Jones, Jr. b. 1788 in Augusta, GA. He later m. Mary Howard and was prominent attorney in Milledgeville in the 1810-1820 era before moving to Columbus, GA abt. 1828 or so. My interest is his father, whom I assume to be Seaborn Jones, Sr. of Virginia. I have a letter written by Joseph Jones of Fredericksburg, VA to Mr. Seaborn Jones dated Augt 16, 1797. The letter mentions the surname Evans, a Capt. Wm. Call, a John Hogan, Joseph's cousin Abraham, and Seaborn's brother John. Can someone help me piece this family together? Thank you. W.
