BRICK WALL. Need help in locating the parents, brothers and sisters of James Seth Howard, b 18 February, 1804 in Georgia. Never been able to locate the County in Georgia. His census records indicate he was born in Georgia. Seth died in DeSoto County, Florida, and is burried in the Joshua Creek Cemetary in DeSoto County, Fla. Married, Harriet C. Weeks born 18 July 1820 in South Carolinia. died 25 January 1892 in Florida and is burried in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetary in Hardee County, Ona, Florida. This is near Wauchula, Fla. Hello, Not sure if this is any help but a suggestion of where to look. There were people from Houston, Pulaski and Dooly County who moved to Desoto County Florida. My family is buried in Joshua Creek and they came form the counties mentioned.
