Hi... I was looking in the 1920 Charlton Co, GA census and I discovered something that is puzzling.....I found three children named Dan, Asberry and Edgar Pringle living in the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Caroline Crawford (the widowed wife of John J. Crawford).....I was wondering if someone could help me in figuring out who their parents were? Dan was 10 yrs, Asberry was 8 and Edgar 3 yrs old. Any help is appreciated.....thank you..... Stephanie Grohol.
The 1910 Charlton County census shows only one Pringle family. James Pringle, 22, with wife of one year named Della or Dilla, and a son, not yet named. Where are the Pringle children's parents shown to have been born? You might want to check Charlton County marriages to see if Della's maiden name was Crawford.
