I apologize if this is against list policy, but my mother, Loda Gail CHAMPION Potts, passed away last month (on March 29, 2004). I'm her youngest son, Danny, and while I doubt many of you knew her, I wanted to take a moment and tell you that receiving e-mails from these genealogy lists brought her a great deal of happiness. It's taken me about a month to get around to clearing out her e-mail inbox, which is why news didn't come sooner. I'll be de-subbing this e-mail address (her's) from the list. I will be taking over her family research work, and try to do at least *half* the job she did. This e-mail address should still remain active for some time, and my sister and I will be periodically checking it. Again, I'm sorry for the intrusion... I just wanted to be certain that the word was out, just in case she's ever posted here. Thanks, Danny Potts

Sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Know that she would have been pleased that you and your sister will carry on, with what she enjoyed. There will be a lot of sharing memories as you go along.
