My ggrandfather James White, from Thomas County, Ga., fought in the Seminole War of 1836. I have much info on his service which I found in the small genealogical library in Ocala, Fl. This library is the repository for about 30 volumes concerning the Indian wars. As far as I know they do not do interlibrary loans, and the staff is small, so probably can't help with research. I don't live in that vicinity anymore so can't help, either. Lois
